Slow movement has been reported on NH-44 due to single-lane traffic at Ballianla, Dewal, Nashri–Dalwas, and between Marog–Kishtwar Pather, along with the breakdown of 3 HMVs and movement of 7 nomadic flocks in the area.
🛻 Goods carriers (HMVs) carrying fresh perishables are advised to load only after confirmation from Traffic Police Headquarters due to the prevailing road conditions.
🚗 LMVs (Passenger/Private Cars) will be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa as per traffic plan and weather conditions.
⏰ Cut-off Timings:
From Nagrota (Jammu) to Srinagar: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
From Qazigund (Kashmir) to Jammu: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
🚛 HMVs: Allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar after regulation from Jakheni (Udhampur) post-clearance from TCU Ramban.
⚠️ Advisory:
Avoid unnecessary travel on NH-44.

🚗 Chailchowk – Janjheli: Open for LMVs beyond Thunag
🚗 Mandi – Kotli – Dharampur: Open for LMVs beyond Kotli
🚗 Karsog – Janjheli, Janjheli – Chattri, Kamand – Prashar: For LMVs only

Slow movement reported due to single-lane traffic at Balinalla, Dewal, Nashri–Dalwas, and between Marog & Kishtwari Pather owing to breakdown of heavy vehicles and movement of nomadic flocks.
Goods carriers (HMVs/LMVs) with perishables/livestock allowed as per advisory.
Commuters advised to follow lane discipline and avoid overtaking to prevent congestion.
Traffic allowed both sides:
Jammu → Srinagar: 08:00 AM – 11:00 AM (from Nagrota)
Srinagar → Jammu: 07:00 AM – 10:00 AM (from Qazigund)
HMVs allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar today; regulated from Jakhani (Udhampur) after clearance from TCU.

Slow movement continues on NH-44 due to single-lane traffic at BaliNalla, Dewal, Nashri-Dalwas, Marog, and Kishtwari Pather. Additionally, 09 HMVs have broken down and nomadic flocks are on the move, causing further delays.
🚛 Goods Carrier Advisory:
Operators carrying perishable or livestock goods are advised to load vehicles only after consulting Traffic Control Units (TCU) due to poor road conditions at several points along NH-44.
🚗 LMV/Passenger Vehicle Movement:
From Jammu towards Srinagar: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
From Qazigund towards Jammu: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Vehicles will not be allowed before or after the specified cut-off timings.
🚚 HMVs/Load Carriers:
Allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu after clearance from Navyug Tunnel (Qazigund side), depending on weather and road status.

Slow movement was reported on NH-44 due to single-lane traffic at Ballianla, Dewal, Nashri–Dhalwas, and between Marog & Kishtwari Pather. Additionally, the breakdown of 7 HMVs and the movement of 16 nomadic flocks between Marog and Kishtwari Pather further affected traffic flow.
🚙 LMV / Passenger Vehicle Timings:
From Jammu (Nagrota): 0800 hrs to 1100 hrs
From Qazigund (Kashmir side): 0800 hrs to 1000 hrs
No vehicle will be allowed before or after the given timings.
🚛 HMV / Load Carrier Movement:
Up HMVs from Jammu side will not be released today towards Srinagar due to congestion and delays.
Movement from Srinagar to Jammu to be regulated by TCU Ramban and TCU Udhampur after assessing road conditions.
