✅ All major routes in District Kinnaur are OPEN for traffic:

1. Chaura – Samdo (NH-05) ➝ Open 🚘

Traffic at Nigulsari is allowed in 30-minute intervals from each side due to a narrow stretch.

2. Powari – Kalpa (NH505A) ➝ Open

3. Karcham – Chitkul ➝ Open 🚧

Traffic diverted via Astangche (Police Station Sangla) due to road collapse near Sangla Bus Stand.

4. Wangtoo – Kafnoo ➝ Open

5. Bhabhanagar – Nichar ➝ Open

6. Namgia – Shipkila ➝ Open

⚠️ Travelers are advised to follow traffic advisories and drive cautiously, especially near Nigulsari and Sangla.

🔹 Slow Movement Alert:
Traffic remains slow on NH-44 due to single-lane movement at Balinalla, Dewal, Nashri–Dalwas, and between Marog & Kishtwari Pathar, also affected by movement of nomadic flocks and a few vehicle breakdowns.
🔸 Traffic Plan for 14 Oct:
Only one-way traffic for LMVs allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu via NH-44.
Vehicles permitted from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) between 0700 to 1100 hrs.
No LMVs shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar today.
HMVs/Load Carriers: Movement allowed from Srinagar to Jammu, regulated by TCU Srinagar after assessing road conditions.
Mughal Road: Open for LMVs both ways – Jammu ↔ Srinagar via Poonch & Shopian.
Vehicle timings: Behramgala (Baffliaz) 0600–1730 hrs | Herpora (Shopian) 0600–1700 hrs
Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag (NH-244): LMVs allowed both sides between 0800–1500 hrs after NHIDCL clearance.
SSG Road (Srinagar–Sonamarg–Kargil): LMVs allowed Minamarg→Srinagar 0800–1000 hrs and Sonamarg→Kargil 1130–1730 hrs

🔸 NH-44 (Jammu–Srinagar Highway):
The highway has not been fully restored at Tharad, Udhampur. Very slow movement observed due to single-lane traffic and poor road conditions between Tharad, Bali Nullah, Dewal, Marog & Kishtwari Pathar, also affected by the breakdown of vehicles and movement of nomadic flocks.
🚗 Traffic Plan:
Tomorrow (14-10-2025): Only one-way traffic for LMVs — Jammu → Srinagar via NH-44.
LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) allowed between 0700–1100 hrs.
No LMV shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu.
Mughal Road: Open for LMVs both ways between 0600–1700 hrs.
HMVs: Allowed Jammu → Srinagar after assessment of road and weather.
SF Convoys: To move only after coordination with TCU Ramban.
🛣 Other Routes:

🔹 NH-44 (Jammu–Srinagar Highway):
The highway has not been fully restored at Tharad, Udhampur. Slow movement continues due to single-lane traffic, breakdown of several heavy vehicles, and movement of nomadic flocks.
🚛 Goods Carrier Advisory:
HMV/LMV operators carrying perishables or livestock are advised to load vehicles as per timing advisories from Traffic Police HQ due to narrow roads and heavy traffic between Udhampur and Banihal.
🚗 Tomorrow’s Plan (Subject to weather & road condition):
➡️ One-way traffic for LMVs will be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu via NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) between 0700 hrs – 1000 hrs.
