NH-44 (Jammu–Srinagar National Highway) has not been fully restored at Thard, Udhampur. Due to single-lane movement, undulating road surface, and movement of nomadic flocks, traffic is moving very slowly in the area.

👉 Goods carriers (HMVs/LMVs) carrying perishables are advised to travel as per official advisories since road conditions remain challenging at Thard and Marog–Kishtwar Pather.

⚠️ Commuters Alert:

Avoid unnecessary travel on NH-44.

🛻 HMVs will be allowed from Jakhani (Udhampur) to Srinagar only after down HMV traffic crosses Thard.

🚧 Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag (NH-244): LMVs allowed 0800–1500 hrs (Anantnag towards Kishtwar) & 0900–1500 hrs (Kishtwar towards Anantnag).

Road not fully restored at Tharad, Udhampur. Only single-lane traffic is allowed due to intermittent rain, breakdown of vehicles, and nomadic flocks.

One-way traffic for LMVs permitted from Jammu towards Srinagar tomorrow, allowed from Nagrota (Jammu) between 0700–1000 hrs.

No LMVs from Srinagar to Jammu tomorrow.

HMVs allowed from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) towards Jammu after clearance at Kishtwari Pather.

🔹 Mughal Road:

Open for LMVs/private cars from both sides (Jammu–Srinagar via Poonch/Shopian).

Timings apply; example: TRC Srinagar 1330 hrs, Nowgam 1400 hrs, Pamptha Chowk 1400 hrs, Galandar 1500 hrs, Herpora 1600 hrs.

HMVs (6-tyre essential commodities only) allowed from Poonch towards Shopian.

🔹 Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag (NH-244):

LMVs allowed both sides from Anantnag towards Kishtwar (0800–1500 hrs) after NHIDCL clearance.

🔹 Sgr–Sonamarg–Gumri Road (SSG):

LMVs allowed from Sonamarg 0700–1300 hrs. HMVs allowed from Minimarg 1130 hrs towards Kargil.
