Delhi to Leh-Ladakh Bike Ride in 2025: Dream Route
The journey, the ride, the trip that I am going to talk about is the favorite place of all the riders in India for bike riding, no matter where you start the ride from. The name of that place is Leh-Ladakh where riders from all over the world go to ride every year. This place is a different world in itself, the landscapes there are different from the world, the mountains are very different, the views are beyond description.
The trip—Delhi to Kashmir, then Ladakh, and back through Manali—was one I’ll never forget because whatever I experienced until i reached Leh was very different from the rest of the world. Endless roads from one point to another, no one in front of you and no one behind you for a long distance. One special thing about this journey was that I did this journey by riding solo and that too for the first time.

The distance from Delhi to Leh is approximately 1250 Km. When this journey is completed, you see signs like ‘Welcome to Leh”. All these things cannot be described, you can just capture them and remember those moments after a few years.
After reaching Leh, don’t rush into riding further — your body needs time to adjust to the high altitude of around 11,500 ft. Taking at least one full day to rest is crucial to avoid acute mountain sickness (AMS), which can hit even experienced travelers. Spend your first day in Leh simply relaxing.
